We’re very honored to have our styled shoot staged at the Museum of Natural History of Utah featured on 100 Layer Cake! Photographed by Kate Osborne, and florals by Decoration Inc., the shoot was a collective effort by a group of creatives passionate about showcasing the astounding natural beauty of the Midwest. We’re grateful to have worked alongside each creative team, as the wide range of perspectives, we believe, are communicated in the fabric of each photo.

The Museum of Natural History of Utah was built in just 2011, making it a fresh canvas space in the Salt Lake City region of Utah. Its modern and eye-catching architecture juxtaposes the geography in which it resides, making it an ideal place for weddings and ceremonies. The design was subdued as to not detract from the beauty of the space, which serves as the main inspiration for the shoot. White and sage were the base colors to reflect the natural setting, while copper complimented the exterior. With all elements in place, the design manifested into a modern, clean, and architectural design.
Excerpt from 100 Layer Cake:
“Friends, how about THIS for a succulent bouquet? Decoration Inc. is speaking our language over here! The scenes from this modern, minimal wedding editorial take place at the Natural History Museum of Utah, which was actually just built in 2011. Designer + planner Joseph of Vivince Event Studio wanted all of the details throughout to represent its clean, architectural design, and Kate Osborne captured it all in the same fresh style.”
